'Hope, A Fragile Flower'

Reflection on the tragedy of 9-11, 2001.
Hope became more and more fragile
as the search for those lost
went on day after day, week after week; and
life-time after life-time was found lost.
One September Eleventh
Hopes Walked
Sleepless
Shock and Anger Labored
‘Selfish-lessly’ side by side;
One Nation Under God
Wrangled!
Reverent! and
Working ‘tired-lessly’
Loved Ones were calling,
Listening,
Hoping, for a sign,
Some sign of life
In wreckage two towers deep.
Medium: Torn paper.
